Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 teapsoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 whole green onions, sliced
- 1 cup diced cooked ham
- 1 red bell pepper, seeded and sliced into thin rings
- 12 ounces Jarlsberg cheese, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- chopped parsley, for garnish
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Whisk together the eggs, water and salt.
In a heavy, ovenproof casserole or frying pan, melt the butter. Add the onions, ham and bell pepper and saute over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes, until the onions are bright green and the pepper is hot.
Pour the egg mixture over the saute and sprinkle with the cheese cubes.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until the egg mixture is set and the cheese is melted. Garnish with chopped parsley.
