Ingredients
- 150 Pecan Halfs
- 50 caramels
- 8 oz semisweet chocolate
Preparation
Step 1
preheat oven to 300*
on a greased baking sheets arrange the pecan halfs in groups of three
with flat side down
place a caramel on top of each pecan clusters
place in the oven until the caramels are soft
about 5 to 8 minutes
remove from the oven and flatten the caramels over the pecans with a buttered spoon
Melt the chocolate in the top of a double boiler over simmering water
spoon chocolate over th top of the caramels
cool
store in tightly covered containers in a cool place
