Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups raw cashews
  • 1 1/2 cups raw pecans
  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 2 T. + 2 tsp. turbinada sugar, divided
  • 2 tsp. sea salt , divided
  • 2 tsp. coarsely chopped rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 1 T. honey
  • 1 T. unsulphered molasses
  • 1/2 tsp. grated orange peel

Step 1



1.Preheat oven to 325. Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with parchment
paper. Spray with Pam.
In a large bowl combine all 3 nuts, 2 t. sugar, 1 ½ tsp. salt,
cayenne, and paprika.
In a glass bowl combine honey, molasses, and orange zest. Micrwave
for 10 seconds.
Pour hot mixture over nuts and stir to coat.
Spread nuts onto baking sheet in single layer. Sprinkle with
remaining sugar and ½ tsp. salt.

2.Bake in center of oven without stirring for 30- 35 minutes, until nuts are slightly browned and sugar is carmelized. (nuts will harden as they cool)
Cool completely – about 1 hour. Break nuts apart and transfer to serving bowl.
Nuts will keep in airtight container for 2 days.
