- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup (or dark)
- pinch of salt
- 3 beaten eggs
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup pecans
-In a 9-inch pie shell, sprinkle chocolate chips and chopped pecans
-Mix sugar, corn syrup, salt, eggs, butter, vanilla, and pecans
-Pour over chocolate chips and pecans in pie shell.
-Bake at 375 degrees for 40-45 min.
-Serve with vanilla ice cream
Tastes really good if pie is served warm
