  • 10 slices of bread buttered generously, trim and cube
  • 1/2 lb grated cheddar cheese
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 lb bacon fried lightly and drained
  • 1 / t. salt

Step 1

Place bread cubes in bottom of baking pan (9x13"). Cover with cheese.
Cut cooked bacon into 2" pieces, cover with cheese. Beat eggs, milk, and salt (if desired)in bowl. Pour over bread, cheese, and bacon.
Let sit in the fridge overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
