fennel tomato sauce

Ingredients
- 1 medium onion - chopped
- 1 T olive oil
- 5 t garlic - chopped
- 2 t dried basil
- 2 t dried oregano
- 2 t fennel seed
- 29 oz. tomato puree
- 29 oz. diced tomato
- 1 1/2 T sugar
- 3/4 t salt
- 1/2 t black pepper

Preparation
Step 1
Sautee onion in olive oil over medium heat until softened.
Add garlic, basil, oregano and fennel. Sautee for two minutes.
Add remaining ingredients , simmer for at least an hour.
