Ingredients
- 1 Large Loaf of French Bread
- Liquids and Spices
- 8 Large Eggs
- 2 Cups Whole Milk
- 2 Cups Half and Half
- 1 tbsp Vanilla
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- Topping
- 1 Stick Butter
- 1 3/4 Cups Dark Brown Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Dark Corn Syrup

Step 1
In a 9 x 13 baking dish that is buttered on the bottom and sides, place 1" thick slices of French Bread. Pack them together tightly with the cut ends facing up and down.
Wisk in large bowl the liquids and spices and pour over the bread. Cover with foil and refrigerate over night.
In another bowl mix and leave out on the counter the Topping ingredients.
In the morning spread the topping mixture over the French Bread.
Bake at 350 for 50 minutes or until the bread puffs up and is golden and bubbly.
