Chi's Angel Hair Pasta w/Roma Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Roma tomato, cubed
  • 1/2 bunch Basil Leaves, cut in fine strips
  • 3 cloves Garlic, crushed
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • dash maggi seasoning
  • pinch sugar
  • dash nutmeg
  • 1 package Angel Hair pasta, cooked according to
  • , pkg directions
  • Parmesan cheese, grated

Preparation

Step 1

1) Heat oil in a sauce pan. Add garlic and tomatoes. Cook and stir often for 5 minutes. Add salt, pepper, maggi, nutmeg & sugar. Let simmer for 10 minutes.
( Italian sausage, shrimp or scallops may be added to the sauce if desired.)
2) Mix sauce with pasta. Toss with basil and parmesan cheese just before serving.
