Ingredients
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 1 Tbsp yeast
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cups warm milk
- 3 eggs, well beaten
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 4 cups flour
- 1 1/2 squares butter
Preparation
Step 1
Down to salt, mix together. Add 2 c. flour. Mix. Add 1 square margarine, mix well. Add remaining flour. Turn in to greased bowl and let rise double, about 2½ hours. cut in half. Roll half into 16" circle. Spread with margarine and cut into wedges. roll from wide section to small. Repeat with other half. Let rise in pan. Bake 15-20 minutes at 400°.
