Grandma Kay’s Prune Cake

Makes 8” or 9” cake. Top with Cream Cheese icing

Ingredients

• 2 T butter
• 1 C sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 T Corn Syrup
• 1 C mashed prunes
• 1 T chocolate
• 1 t Cinnamon
• 1 t nutmeg
• 1 1/4 C flour
• 1 t soda dissolved in 1 C prune juice
• Bake 35-40’ @ 350.

Preparation

Step 1

Mix wet ingredients. Slowly add dry ingredients. Pour into greased and floured pan. Bake 35-40’ @ 350.
