Ingredients

  • 2

    pounds of confectioner's sugar

  • 1 1/2

    sticks of oleo (unsalted butter)

  • 1/3

    cup of bourbon ( 101 proof Wild Turkey)

  • Coating:

  • 2

    cups of chocolate chips

  • 3

    tablespoons of butter

  • 1/2

    cake of paraffin wax

Directions

Cream butter and bourbon. Gradually add confectioner's sugar until creamy. Roll into small balls or use a melon ball scoop to form balls. Place on cookie sheet that is covered by wax paper. Chill overnight. Coating: Melt chocolate chips, butter and wax in a double boiler. Dip bourbon balls in chocolate and place on a cookie sheet that is covered by wax paper for drying.
