Ingredients
- 1 &1/3 c. boiling water
- 3 tea bags
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 &2/3 Tbs. cocoa powder
- 5 &1/2 c. milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/3 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/3 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/3 tsp. ground cardamon
- Heavy whipping cream (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
Pour boiling water over tea bags in large saucepan. Cover & let stand 4-6 min. Remove tea bags. Stir in sugar & cocoa powder. Cook & stir over medium heat just until mixture comes to boiling;reduce heat. Stir in rest of ingredients except whipping cream. Heat through, but do not boil. Pour into mugs, dollop with whipped cream if desired.
