  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs beaten
  • 3 cups sifted flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp mace
  • Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs. Mix on low, then slowly add dry ingredients. Pour into greased bundt pan. Bake at 350o for 1 hour.
