Chili-Rubbed Steaks

Ingredients

  • 2 , 12 oz beef ribeye steaks, cut 1" thick
  • 1 T chili powder
  • 1 T olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp dried oregano, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin

Preparation

Step 1

Trim fat from steaks. Place in a single layer in a shallow dish. For rub, in a small bowl combine the spices and oil. Spoon over steaks; rub in with your fingers. Cover and marinate in fridge for at least 1 hour or up to 2 hours.

Preheat grill and reduce to medium. Place steaks on grill rack over heat. Cover and grill turning halfway.
