Ingredients

  • 1 tube (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 tbsp butter or oleo, melted
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 4 tsp sugar
  • 1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1-1/2 cups milk
  • 1 tsp finely shredded orange peel
  • 1/4 container (8 oz) frozen whipped
  • 1 tsp finely shredded orange peel
  • 1/4 container (8 oz) frozen whipped dessert topping-thawed (1 cup)
  • 3 cups fresh fruit ( such as blueberries, sliced kiwifruit, sliced strawberries, raspberries &/or peeled peach slices)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Press rolls into bottom of 12" pizza pan or 13"x9"x2" baking pan. In small bowl, combine butter & almond extract; brush over dough. Sprinkle with sugar.

2. Bake @ 375 degrees for 11 - 13 minutes or until golden. cool completely in pan on wire rack.

3. in medium-size bowl, beat pudding mix & milk with electric mixer on low speed for 1 minute. Stir in orange peel. Cover & refrigerate for 10 minutes; Fold in dessert topping.

4. Spread pudding mixture evenly over crust. Arrange fruit over pudding. Cover & refrigerate for 1 - 3 hours before serving.
