Beef Stew

  • 1 lb beef stew meat
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 Tbsp margarine
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 can Cream of Chicken soup
  • 3 potatoes, diced
  • 5 carrots, peeled, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped



Step 1

Mix flour salt and pepper in a ziploc bag. Bread stew meat in flour mixture. Pour in to a dutch oven. Brown in margarine. Add water and cream of chicken soup. Simmer while preparing vegetables. In separate pot, cover potatoes, carrots and onions with water. Boil 5-10 minutes. Add to meat and simmer until vegetables are tender.
