Soft Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 cups sugar
• 1 cup shortening
• 3 eggs
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 4 1/2 cups flour
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Cream shortening and sugar and eggs. Blend in remaining ingredients.

Tablespoon of dough on cookie sheet (greased pan)

Sprinkle with plain sugar before baking.

Bake at 375 degree for 10 minutes.
