- 1 pound of ziti
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 pound of ground beef
- 2 26. oz jars of spaghetti sauce
- 6 ounces of provolone cheese sliced
- 1 1/2 cups of sour cream
- 6 oz of mozzarella, shredded
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Cooking time 55mins
Preheat oven to 350.
Grease a 9x13 baking dish.
Cook ziti in salted water, drain and cool
In a large skillet brown onion and beef over medium heat.
Add spaghetti sauce and simmer for 15 minutes.
Layer as follows: 1/2 of the ziti, provolone cheese, sour cream, 1/2 sauce mixture, remaining ziti, mozzarella and remaining sauce mixture, top with grated Parmesan cheese.
Cook for 30 minutes and let stand before cutting.
