Ingredients
- 1 c. rice (uncooked)
- 1 can corn (drained but save juice)
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 c. onion
- 1/2 c. green pepper
- 2 cans tomato sauce
- 1 lb. ground beef
Preparation
Step 1
In deep pan start to layer in the following order:
Rice, corn, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Pour 1 can of tomato sauce and 1/2 c. water and corn juice on top. Add onion, green pepper, 3/4 lb. of ground beef (uncooked). Sprinkle with salt and pepper pour second can of tomato sauce and 1/4 c. water over top. Cover with bacon. Cover pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover and continue to bake for 30 minutes of until bacon is crisp.
