Skillet Custards

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs,beaten
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-1/2 cups milk

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients and stir until sugar is dissolved.Pour into custard cups.Arrange in skillet
with tight fitting cover.Pour hot water into pan to level of cusatrd mixture.Cover and bring carefully to full boil.Turn off heat and let custards stand,covered,10 minutes.Refrigerate.
