Cabbage Crunch Salad

  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 pkgs. Ramen chicken flavor Oriental noodles
  • 2 oz. almonds
  • 1/2 c. sunflower nuts
  • 1/4 c. sesame seed
  • 1 s. head cabbage, shredded



Step 1

Melt butter in lg. saucepan. Add crumbled noodles and brown for 1 min. Add nuts and seeds. Brown slightly; add seasoning packet. Stir and cool.
1/4 c. or less salad oil
1/4 c. sugar
2 T. vinegar
2 T. soy sauce
Heat in saucepan until sugar is dissolved. Refrigerate. When cool and just before serving, add dressing to top ingredients; toss with cabbage.
