- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. finely chopped onion or 1 pkg. onion soup mix
- 1 T. flour
- 1 . c. water
- 3/4 c. ketchup
Fry hamburger, onions, salt, pepper, and flour until meat is beginning to brown. Drain off excess fat; stir in water, ketchup. Add more water and ketchup to consistency for barbecues. Simmer 20 min., covered, stirring occasionally.
