Turkey Cranberry Rolls

If you could put the taste of Thanksgiving in a sadnwich, this would be it. Nothing could be easier than prepackaged rolls that you slice, fill and then bake in the pan they dam in. Since they freeze weill, these rolls are good make-ahead sandwiches.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 T. mayonnaise
  • 2 T. sour cream
  • 2 T. chutney
  • 1 T. Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 t. curry powder
  • 1/2 t. ground red pepper
  • 1 c. whole-berry cranberry sauce
  • 3 T. onion, minced
  • 4 (7 1/2oz) pkgs party rolls in aluminum trays
  • 1 lb. smoked turkey, thinly sliced

Preparation

Step 1

Combine first 7 ingredients in a medium bowl. Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until glended. Stir together cranberry sauce and onion.
Remove rolls from aluminum tray, Slice rolls in half horizontally, using a serrated knife; do not separate rolls. Spread a thin layer of cream cheese micture over top and bottom halves of each package of rolls.
Layer one-fourth of the turkey slices over bottom half of each pakage of rolls. Spread a thin layer of cranberry mixture over turkey. Cover with top halves of rolls. Cut rolls into individual sandwiches and return rolls to aluminum trays.
Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until warm. Bake, uncovered, during last 10 minutes, if desired, for crisper rolls.
