Ingredients
- Vodka 750 ml
- Ginger, smashed 1/2 C
- White peppercorns 1/4 C
- Cranberries as needed
- Simple syrup 3 C
- Lemon verbena 1 bunch
- Kaffir lime, juice of 1 each
- Cardamom pods 2 TBS
- Ice, crushed as needed
- Togarashi as needed
- Grapefruit, suprêmes as needed
Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine vodka with ginger, white peppercorns and 1/2 cup cranberries in a sealable jar. Cover tightly and store in a dark place for 2 to 5 days. Strain before using.
2. Bring simple syrup to boil and add lemon verbena, kefir lime juice and cardamom pod. Remove from heat and reserve to steep for 10 minutes. Strain mixture and combine with vodka.
3. To serve, blend drink with crushed ice. Rim glass with togarashi and garnish with cranberry and grapefruit suprêmes.
