Ingredients
- insides of peppers:
- green peppers (however many you are using that evening)
- 1 1/2 lb ground beef
- jar of spaghetti sauce
- 1 /2 cup cooked rice
- 1 chopped onion
- 1/2 lb sliced mushrooms
- salt, pepper, paprika, garlic salt
- bread crumbs
- parm cheese
- pat of butter
Preparation
Step 1
1.snip tops of peppers off and clean. put in pot and fill water up halfway. cover pot, bring to a boil, simmer and cook for 12 minutes. remove with slotted spoon. drain on paper towel.
2. brown beef and put in bowl. add spaghetti sauce.
3. saute onions and mushrooms and add to bowl. also add cooked rice. put all seasonings into bowl. mix well.
4. fill peppers and top with bread crumbs, parm cheese and butter.
5. put in 375 degree oven for 40 minutes.
**** put unused portions in freezer to make later on (i freeze in small quantities)
