Fra Diavolo Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup evoo
  • 4 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1-28 oz can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cups chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper

Preparation

Step 1

In a large skillet heat olive oil over medium high heat. Add garlic and saute until golden. Add tomatoes and water. Bring to a rapid boil. Add parsley, s/p, oregano, garlic powder, crushed red pepper.

Reduce heat to medium, cook 10 minutes. Stir occasionally.
