Ingredients
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1/2 cup chopped whole pecans
- 2 tsps. kosher salt
- 1 tsp fresh black pepper
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp. maple syrup
- 1/2 lb thick sliced applewood smoked bacon

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375
Line sheet pan with aluminum foil and place wire baking rack on it.
Combine brown sugar and pecans in a food processor and grind finely. Add salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper, pulse to combine. Add maple syrup and pulse to moisten crumbs.
Cut bacon slices in 1/2 and line up on baking rack. Spread pecan mix onto each piece. Bake 25-30 mins, it will crisp as it cools. Serve at room temp.
