Chewy Toffee Cookie

Ingredients

• 2 1/4 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup butter
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 1 3/4 cups toffee bits

Preparation

Step 1

stir together flour, baking soda, and salt. set aside
beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla together until well blended
add eggs, beat well
gradually add flour mixture, beat until well blended
stir in toffee bits
drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet
bake 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown
cool slightly, remove to wire rack
cool completely
