Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 1 cup white sugar
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 3/4 cup cocoa
• 3 large eggs
• 1 cup flour
• 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
• 1 cup walnuts, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter. Add in white sugar, brown sugar, and cocoa, and blend well. Beat in eggs one at a time. Sift flour and baking powder into the mixture and stir. Add vanilla and walnuts. Pour into prepared 9” x 13” pan. Bake for 30 minutes. (Centre will be firm but not hard). Ice when cool.
