chicken, cup up, skinned, salted, peppered, washed and drained.

Saute onion in skillet until clear, add paprika, stir. Place chicken in skillet, after 5 minutes turn over to coat pieces with onion and paprika sauce. Add a little water (1/4 cup) in various spots around pan. Cover and simmer till it's falling off the bone, turning every 15 minutes. Mix 1/2 pint of sour cream into onion butter sauce at the end. Cover again and heat.
