Ingredients
- 1/2 cake or 1 teaspoon dried yeast
- 1/8 cup lukewarm sweet cider
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 3/4 cups mixed whole- grain flours (rye, buck- wheat, corn, oatmeal, wheat)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon fennel seeds, crushed
- 1/2 cup bananas, mashed

Preparation
Step 1
1. Soften yeast in cider.
2. Mix honey, oil and eggs.
3. Add to yeast mixture.
4. Stir in flours, salt and seeds.
5. Set in warm place for 1/2 hour to rise.
6. Blend in bananas.
7. Turn into oiled loaf pan.
8. Let rise for 10 minutes more.
9. Bake at 325° F., about 40 minutes.
