Blueberry Coffee Cake

This was a recipe that Jenny Wall brought to MOPS one morning and needless to say I loved it. I have made this for several gatherings and everyone seems to love it.

Ingredients
- Glaze:
- 2 cups flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup butter
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup OJ
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 1-2 cups blueberries, divided
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/3 cup milk
Preparation
Step 1
Spread 1/2 of blueberries on the bottom of a greased 9x9 pan. Sift dry ingredients in a bowl. cut in butter, add in eggs, OJ and almond extract. Pour the batter over top of the blueberries in the pan. Sprinkle remainder of blueberries on top. Bake 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
Glaze: 1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/3 cup milk
Put on warm cake.
