Ingredients
- Meringue:
- 8 oz. sweetened condensed milk
- 4 egg yolks
- 1/2 C key lime juice
- 1 egg white, beat until stiff
- 3 Egg whites
- 6 Tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar

Preparation
Step 1
Beat first 3 ingredients until frothy, then fold in 1 beaten egg white, pour mixture into 9" baked pie crust (Pillsbury).
Beat meringue mixture until peaks form.
Bake 10-20 minutes until meringue browns.
Cool on rack 1 hour, then chill in refrigerator to set completely.
