Rustic Gingered Peach Tart

Ingredients

  • 4 medium peeled, pitted, and sliced peaches
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • Store-bought 9" piecrust
  • Cooking spray
  • 1 Tbsp sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 400 F.

Combine peaches, sugar, and ground ginger in medium skillet. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring gently, until sugar dissolves, about 3 minutes. Let cool slightly.

Place piecrust on baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Mound peaches in center. Fold edges up and over filling, leaving center exposed. Sprinkle with sugar and bake until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
