Ingredients

  • 2

    ripe mangoes, diced

  • 1

    cup crushed pineapple, with juice

  • 2

    jalapenos, diced

  • 1

    teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1

    small red onion, diced

  • 2

    packets chili seasoning (Brooks Chili)

  • ½

    cup sugar

  • 2

    lbs. ground beef

  • dash hot sauce (optional)

  • 1

    can red beans

  • 1

    can stewed or diced tomatoes

  • 1

    small can tomato sauce or tomato paste

  • (I cut all of these ingredients in half which makes plenty for us)

Directions

Prepare ground beef and drain. Add chili packets and prepare according to chili seasoning instructions; adding tomatoes and red beans. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for at least 30 minutes. *This taste even better a day or two after it's made
