  • 1 CAN CREAM OF CHICKEN SOUP = FAT FREE
  • 1/2 POUND 2% SHARP CHEESE - GRADED
  • 4-5 LARGE ONIONS - THINLY SLICED - VADALIA SWEET
  • HUNGRY JACK BISCUITS OR PILLSBURY (TOPPING)

Preparation

Step 1

SAUTE ONIONS IN 1 1/2 BUTTER UNTIL TRANSLUCENT.. SPREAD ONIONS ON BOTTOM OF CASSEROLE.
ADD 1 CAN CREAM OF CHICKEN SOUP.
GRADE 1/2 POUND OF SHARP CHEESE ON TOP.
BAKE UNTIL BUBBLING - 1/2 HR ON 350.
CAN DO AHEAD OF TIME THEN ADD TOPPING BEFORE SERVING.
TOPPING: CUT BISCUITS IN HALF - ADD TO TOP ONION MIXTURE AFTER COOKING.
BAKE @ TEMP ON CAN (400) UNTIL BISCUITS ARE DONE OR BROWN.
