Ingredients
- Cake
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 beaten eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 12 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 16-ounce can Hershey's chocolate syrup
- Mint layer
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 3 tablespoons green creme de menthe
- 1/2 cup butter softened
- Glaze
- 12 ounces chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup butter

Preparation
Step 1
CAKE
Cream sugar and butter; work eggs into the mixture. Add flour, salt, vanilla and syrup to mixture and stir well until smooth mixture is achieved. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes in a greased 9 X 13 pan.
MINT LAYER
Combine all 3 ingredients in a bowl; mix and cream well. Spread evenly on cake.
GLAZE
Combine chocolate and butter; melt in microwave. Allow to cool and pour over top of mint layer. Refrigerate bars. Before glaze has set completely, cut into 3/4 inch squares. Store in refrigerator.
