Three-Cheese Fondue

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white wine (Sauvignon Blanc or Dry Riesling)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 7 ounces Gruyere cheese, shredded
  • 7 ounces sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 7 ounces Emmentaler cheese, shredded

Preparation

Step 1

Bring the wine and butter to a simmer in a small saucepan.

Toss shredded cheese and flour together in a freezer bag.

Slowly add cheese/flour mix; stir until cheese is melted. Rub fondue pot with garlic.

Transfer cheese mixture to fondue pot. Keep warm over low flame.

(Can add a few drops-1 tsp lemon juice if cheese is stringy)
