Ingredients
- 2 egg whites
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp melted shortening
- 2/3 cup shredded coconut
- 2/3 cup walnuts or almonds
- 4 cups cornflakes
Preparation
Step 1
Beat egg whites, add sugar and salt. Add vanilla and shortening. Mix the nuts, coconut and cornflakes and add to the egg mixture. Form in clusters. Bake at 325 F until light brown.
