Bacon Dressing

Can be used on Spinach or other salad greens.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Kosher salt
  • Black pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Fry bacon and remove to a paper towel to drain
Reserve 3 Tablespoons bacon fat. Crumble the bacon and set aside.
Transfer the fat to a small saucepan. Over low heat whisk in the vinegar, sugar, mustard, salt and pepper.
Drizzle the warm dressing over a salad and top with the crumbled bacon.
