Ingredients
- 4 1" slices Italian bread
- 4 slices of Mozzarella or Provolone
- 1/2 cups milk
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 tsp italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2/3 cups Italian bread crumbs
Preparation
Step 1
Cut a 3 inch pocket in each slice of bread. Place a cheese slice in each pocket. Beat milk, eggs and seasonings in bowl. Pour bread crumbs on waxed paper. Soak each slice of bread in egg mixture for a minute or two. Coat with bread crumbs and cook slowly on hot, greased griddle until golden brown on each side. Serve immediately.
