Slow-Cooker Pumpkin Oatmeal

  • 6 cups water
  • 3 cups raw pumpkin,cut into 1 inch cups
  • 1 1/2 cups steel-cut oats(Power Food)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg


Servings 8


Step 1

Put all ingredients in a 3- to 6 guart
slow cooker;stir well.Cover and cook on
low for 8 hours;stir well before serving.Yields about 1 cup per serving

Swap butternut squash for the pumpkin,if desired.
