CHOCOLATE OATMEAL COOKIES

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks Butter or Margarine
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar (packed)
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 1/4 cups Flour
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt (opt)
  • 2 cups Chocolate Morsels
  • 2 cups Oats
  • 1 cup Chopped Walnuts

Preparation

Step 1

Heat Oven to 350 deg.
Beat margarine, sugars, eggs, vanilla until creamy.
Combine flour, Cocoa, baking Soda & Salt.
Stir into creamed mixture.
Stir in chocolate, oats & nuts.
Drop rounded tbsp. on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 10-11 mins. or until set.
Cool 2 mins. on cookie sheet
then remove to rack to cool.
Store tightly covered
