Peppermint White Chocolate Latte Recipe

- 2 to 4 shots of espresso (I used Maxwell House coffee)
- 1 and 1/4 c milk (any milk you use)
- 1 c half and half
- 1/3 c white chocolate chips or chunks
- 1 drop of peppermint extract
- 3 candy canes, crushed
- whipped cream

1.In a medium saucepan, combine milk, half and half, chocolate and 3 tablespoons of crushed peppermint candy canes. Cook over medium heat until steaming hot but not boiling.
2.Remove from heat.
3.Place espresso shot (use 2 for stronger latte) in the mug.
4.Top with half of the peppermint chocolate base.
5.Garnish with whipped cream and remaining crushed candy canes.
