Ingredients
- 3-4 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup of melted butter
- 1 cup of sugar (or 1/2 brown sugar, 1/2 granulated)
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
Preparation
Step 1
No need for a mixer for this recipe.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
With a large spoon and bowl, mix butter into the mashed bananas. then mix the sugar, egg and vanilla into the bananas. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix in. Add the flour last and mix.
Pour batter into a buttered 4 X 8 inch loaf pan. Bake for 45 - 50 minutes. (hour was too long)
Cool on a rack.
Slice and serve.
