No Fail Blackberry Cobbler
My husband wants food easy. This is his blackberry cobbler recipe. What you're seeing is our local blackberries that we picked one beautiful Oregon August morning.
- Blackberries to fill a 9 x 13 baking pan 3/4 to the top
- 1 package yellow cake mix
- 1 stick butter or cookable margarine, cut into 1/4" pieces
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice or water
Preparation time 10mins
Cooking time 35mins
Fill 9 x 13 glass cooking pan with blackberries.
Dump cake mix over the top, dotting with pats of butter or margarine.
Sprinkle with lemon juice or a little water to moisten.
Bake at 350°F approximately 20 minutes until butter melts and topping is a bit crunchy.
