  • 6 tbs. butter
  • 1 tbs. chopped onion
  • 5 tbs. flour
  • 1 cut chicken broth
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • dash of ground nutmeg
  • 10 oz. pkg. chopped broccoli

Preparation

Step 1

In saucepan, melt butter & saute' onion; blend in flour. Gradually add broth, milk, salt, pepper & nutmeg. Stir until smooth. Heat over medium heat until slightly thickened, stirring constantly. Add broccoli & continue cooking over medium heat until heated thoroughly. Puree with hand blender to desired consistency.
