Chinese Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Ingredients
- Meatballs
- 2 lbs. ground pork
- 1 bunch of green onions, chopped, including green stalks
- 4 T Bisquick mix
- 2 beaten eggs
- 4 T cornstarch
- 1 t sesame oil
- 6 T soy sauce
- Mix the above ingredients well, shape into 1” balls, on a cookie sheet bake @ 350° for 15-20 minutes, turning with a spatula to prevent sticking.
- Sauce
- 2 T cornstarch
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup vinegar
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 T soy sauce
- 1 t sherry
- 1 T Oriental plum sauce

Preparation
Step 1
Combine cornstarch and sugar. Add vinegar, water, soy sauce, and sherry. Heat in a heavy metal sauce pan, stirring until thickened. Stir in plum sauce. Add meatballs to sauce and serve in a chaffing dish.
