Ingredients
- 2 lbs. beef, cubed
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1 clove
- 1-2 bay leaves
- 2 c. carrots, bite-sized
- 2 c. potatoes, bite-sized

Preparation
Step 1
Brown beef on all sides. Transfer to crock pot. Add remaining ingredients, cover with hot water and cook on high all day. For gravy - pour cold water (1/2 c.) into shaker with 1/4 c. flour. Push meat and veggies to one side; stir in flour mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, till gravy thickens and boils. Cook gently about 5 minutes more.
