Brownies

Ingredients

• 4 eggs; beat well
• 1 c. white sugar
• 1 c. brown sugar
• Add and beat well.
• Dissolve 1/2 c. cocoa in 1 c. melted shortening.
• Cool and add 2 tsp. vanilla
• 1 c. flour
• 1 tsp. baking powder

Preparation

Step 1

Sift together and add alternately with cocoa mixture. Add flour mixture first, then cocoa mixture, flour mixture. Nuts may be added if desired. Put in greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 for 25 min.
